I think it's not very many personally. I've seen some good films, but I can only think of a handful off the top of my head that I'd gladly watch again.
The ones that immediately spring to mind are
1) The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - superb spaghetti western
2) Groundhog Day - Bill Murray at his finest
3) Forrest Gump - Touching, Funny and Incredulous, but very entertaining
4) The Green Mile - Fabulous fantasy film about a gentle giant with amazing healing powers
5) The Bourne films - Matt Damon hasn't done many bad films and the Bourne trilogy are definitely some of his better ones.
6) The Lord of the Rings trilogy - Having read the book several times, I expected these films to be poor and to deviate from the book a lot, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great films
Remind me of some others
I've just looked at a supposed top 100 films of all time list to try and jog my memory but it looks like a very poor selection to me. The only one I agree should be there is The Shawshank Redemption
They have Jaws at number 5! It was OK at the time, but I've never been tempted to re-watch it and never will

'On Golden Pond' is another I've just remembered - good performances by both Father and Daughter (Henry and Jane Fonda) and Katherine Hepburn is not too shoddy either

I've watched The Good the Bad and the Ugly at least 12 times, the music made that film I think. I can listen to the music and know exactly what was happening in the film.
I've enjoyed what I've seen of The Lord of the Rings, but I've not seen the whole trilogy yet. I would like to watch the whole lot from start to finish. I've read The Hobbit and the trilogy twice. Couldn't get into the Silmarillion that Tolkien's son Christopher finished off after his death.

I agree that most of the films mentioned above are well worth repeat viewing, but as a Sci-Fi addict from way back, my personal favourite, watched many times, is, "Blade Runner".

Agree with Blade Runner (which has to be in it's original theatre release version, you know, the one with the Harrison Ford voice over). Zulu Twelve Monkeys As Good As It Gets One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Die Hard Jaws (seen by me dozens of times, look at it as a film maker, a master class) Saving Private Ryan The Cruel Sea Sparticus Gladiator Jackie Brown Snatch The Outlaw Josey Wales The Seven Samurai Leon Life of Brian Toy Story 1, 2 & 3 The Man Who Would Be King I could go on..........I even might? ? :-;

The Outlaw Josey Wales - yes and Unforgiven too, our Clint has made some good films, bless him. I don't think I've seen a bad spaghetti western with him in it either
Toy Story(s)? Hmm, as an animation master class, great. But as films to re-watch? No sorry. Same for Shrek, the first one was marvellous, the rest were just cashing in and dull once the novelty had worn off
And Ken, yes, the Silmarillion was turgid beyond belief, I abandoned it quite quickly and I think it still lies gathering dust on my bookshelf, unless I had the sense to bin it years ago

I do quite like Grease and I am going to admit something here and now I have never admitted in public before...after resisting it for 30 years I eventually gave in and watched the Sound of Music.......and liked it.
PS Lynnrose, when I haven't got my head tilted slightly to one side with a faint smile of my face which everyone tells me I look like George Clooney I do look a bit like John Travolta...

The Man Who Would Be King. I have seen it a couple of times, but I would like to see it again. I am a Sean Connery fan and will always watch the Bond films that he was in.

Never been tempted to watch it again.

It's actually xXx to be ultra pedantic MM - a Vin Diesel violence fest (2002) where he saves the World - yet again. xXx The Return of Xander Cage is out this year. The Chronicles of Ridthingy (2004) starring him was a surprisingly good film and a sequel simply called Ridthingy is also due out this year. A busy (and obviously very wealthy) man because he has also been Producer or Executive Producer on a lot of his films and did the triple whammy of Actor, Producer and Director on two films - which he also wrote just for good measure. **Edit** Stupid censor It's called R-I-D-D-I-C-K not Ridthingy

I didn't think his first film was too bad, Pitch Black. As for your correction re XXX actually being xXx I thought it was a load of XXXX.

Regarding my last posts re xXx.....I now have a new candidate for one of the worst films I have ever had the misfortune to sit down and see, and by see I mean until I turned it off exasperated at its shear awfulness. Which in this case was after 15 minutes, The Expendables.
