I thought you all might be able to wish me luck.....then I might get my new corner sofa earlier than the 8 weeks they have quoted.
I ordered it on Saturday 24th April, so Saturday just gone it has been 5 weeks. I have finished decorating, so I NEED the sofa now, lol.
I have read a few bad reviews recently on the quality of the sofas and also the delays  ....so if you can all send some luck my way, it would be appreciated!
Saturday 5th June...will be 6 weeks....will it be here by then or not?

We bought or suite from DFS. Delivery was within the specified time and the quality was good. We had two small scuffs on the leather when it arrived, and I mean SMALL. We phoned the store and the next day they sent a man with his little touch up kit (leather suite). He said he would sort the problem out but if we were not entirely happy when he had finished they would supply a new sofa with no quibble. After half an hour he was done and me being a fussy bugger had a really good look, just couldn't see the repair.
So all in all, very pleased and will buy there again.

Check any company online and 80% will be bad reviews. People will always publish the fact when a company or product doesn't live up to their expectations. But when everything goes right there is no need to do anything, so there won't be dozens of forums saying how good the product/service was.

"It's a British thing, we love complaining" take me I have been waiting for an order from Coppers i order it on the 28 may 10. i emailed them last Thursday had too wait till today for a reply to my email they say it's on it's way now i am not one to complain but it's not the first time, my first order got pinched and i did not know it till about a week later then they sent another one about a week after that, my second order it was two month before they could send it i had been waiting for a month before i email them but they never replied to the email so i had to phone them and cancled the order as they side it would be another month before they sent it.
i am not one to complain as I'm a Yorkshireman

I bought a Marquee last Friday on the phone. 'Order Before 3.00 PM for next day delivery', so I did. It is coming today :-( Oh! and the bits that I was assured were in stock Friday when I ordered and paid, well some of them are not available until next week, great! Don't you just love um?

I ordered a chest freezer online from Argos. I got a message to say it would be delivered 3 days later between 8am and noon. It arrived at 11.30am, by two cheerful guys who unpacked it, installed it, and took away all the packaging together with the old freezer. This is not the first time I have had excellent service from them either.
I have also had first class service of electrical goods from Comet who are totally professional and reliable IMO.
