I have watched every episode and now have quite a few favourites. Normally I only like two people at the most. Tonight's episode is where the four Judges announce the three singers in each category that will be on the live shows next week. These are the twelve I would pick....in no particular order.....let's see if I am right on the Judges' choices tonight...
Girls~Cheryl's Rebecca Ferguson Cher Lloyd (even though she totally messed up in front of Cheryl) Gamu Nhengu
Groups~Simon's 1 Direction Belle Amie Diva Fever (a big maybe as we need a Jedward replacement, lol)
Over 28's~Louis's John Adeleye Mary Byrne Elesha Moses
Boys~Danni's Matt Cardle Marlon McKenzie Paije Richardson
Had to edit as I got two categories mixed up lol

Well, I only got 7 out of 12 right....and the very big surprise was that Gamu did not get through! These are the 7 I got right.
Girls~Cheryl's Rebecca Ferguson Cher Lloyd
Groups~Simon's 1 Direction Belle Amie
Over 28's~Louis's John Adeleye Mary Byrne
Boys~Danni's Matt Cardle
Sorry Elvis, but at least the x-factor will not be on next year.

I'm surprised Simon let both made up groups through, but not surprised Cheryl let all three lame ducks (emotionally) through.
I'm just thankful none of the ones who should never have been there in the first place have made it - so they'll be no jedward joke acts this year
.... and yes little Gamu was robbed

Always watched XF and loved it, don't know how from the thousands that auditioned they have come up with such a sad bunch. IMO the judges last Saturday got rid of some of the best from these hopefuls.
Previous shows the talent was high and difficult to pick a winner as they were all so good.
Pleased Gamu might get second chance, all good for the ratings of course.!

Sorry to be a killjoy as far as XF is concerned, I would rather watch paint dry, with one exception, Cheryl is worth watching anytime.

Had to watch and would of liked Rebecca to win.
IMHO the talent was much higher in previous years.
I'm glad its over.

Interesting titbit on the xtra factor show - Matt was the public's number 1 choice every week since week 1 I thought he'd blown it after his first song to be honest, not up to his usual high standard.
I predict Rebecca will have a longer lasting and more successful career though, despite being pipped at the post for the title.
Both singing different songs for the final showdown is a better idea than previous years where they have both sang the same song. Neither was much cop though IMO

Yeah, I'm glad it's over too Tuesday.
Matt got something like 45% of the votes and Rebecca 39% I wasn't that impressed with either of them last night and didn't like the songs at all.

The X Factor?? The very name reminds me of watching my graddad do the football pools when I was a kid. I have never watched it on TV, but I expect watching my graddad was more interesting.

At the risk of being controversal I thought Matt Cardle was awful, he looked like every minute of his performance was a strain for him. Conversely, I felt Rebecca was so composed (pardon the pun), and totally at ease with herself. IMO, she was streets ahead of Matt, and should have won it without question.
Obviously both these contestants will have careers from the X-Factor but I would guess that Rebecca will last a lot longer.
I just wish the producers of the show would reduce the level of the noise from the audience, at times it is so deafening it made me want to switch off. I assume quite a lot of it is canned however.

Wagner's success has encouraged me to audition for next year. I couldn't be any worse, could I? I could whistle Dixie with a Peruvian nose flute while eating a huge plate of fish, chips and curry sauce.
