Hi, guys,
My new printer, Epson Stylus Office BX 535WD has cartridges with electical contacts, which I assume are used to signal to the printer when the cartridge is empty.
These cartridges cannot be refilled. Is that right?
I noticed that cartridges are available for this printer that are genuine Epson brand, yet they are advertised as "untagged"!
Does that mean that I can refill them?
Many thanks,
Alex

I do not now any thing much about "untagged" or "tagged" what ever it means

Thanks for the Bump Lynnrose, but it seems no one knows or they are keeping it to themselves.
Thanks again,
Alex

I think an untagged ink cartridge might vary fractionally from printer and not comply exactly to the RGB code. I doubt if many printers do comply, especially the cheaper ones and Epson are just covering themselves by putting untagged on them. Tagging is really referring to RGB and not the ink itself.

Thank you very much Wingwoo. That makes sense to me. Alex
