Hi Guys, I am having problems printing from my remote (wireless connected) Laptop to my Printer which is cable connected to the desktop. I am running XP on the desktop and Win 7 on the lappy.. Files ,folders etc. can be interchanged no problem but the printer does not want to know.I have gone through all the usual clicking for sharing the printer but when I try to connect via the laptop all I get is "access denied" Any help would be appreciated Thanks Bill

Hi Overpass, Have a read of this as Mikkh's post may help.
Also, your old thread here may have some info that is helpful?

I have tried entering a user password Mikkh and also reducing the encryption to 50 bit. but still no joy.I have also downloaded the latest Win 7 driver from Canon. The printer works OK plugged directly into the Laptop, but not through the wireless connection.Just get "access denied"
Referring back to my original thread Lynnrose. The recommendation there was using a wireless print server but I really don't want to go to this expense as I don't use the Laptop enough to warrant it.
