Hi, I have problems accessing Yahoo mail. I get the error message: IE cannot open the Internet site uk.mg41.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch Operation Aborted Clicking on OK removes the message, but it popps up again 2 more times and than it stays off, until I change the page - i.e. try to compose an email. Any suggestions would be most welcome, Many thanks, Alex

Sorry Alex, I would clear out IE's cache, cookies and history. Also try making sure you have an updated version of Java and flash.
Have you another browser installed that you could try out like Firefox?

Have you another browser installed that you could try out like Firefox? Thank you Lynnrose, but still no luck. I have Firefox and Safari and Yahoo mail work well in them, but IE is my default browser. I noticed in Firefox and Safari that advertisements appear in the right-hand margin and they do not in IE when I am running Google, but they do appear on other websites. Is it possible, therefore, that advertisements are turned off in my copy of Google and that causes the problem? I cannot find anything on how to turn them on or off. Thanks again, Alex

Not sure about adverts, but what about logging in to 'Yahoo Mail Classic' instead of whatever version that is set to default?
Another option is to reset IE back to default settings
Option 3...disable all IE add-ons, then if Yahoo then works, you can add back the add-ons, one at a time to find out which one causes the problem.

Wow! Lunnrose you should consider doing this professionally! I tried resetting IE to defaults and Yahoo mail now works. I have lost an useful App, Clip it, but I have it in Firefox, so it is not a problem.
Brilliant!
Thank you very much.
