There is an element of truth in what they're saying though, I have a 50 Mb cable connection when a 20 Mb one would be more than adequate. I literally live on the internet though and never switch my TV on, and I do get impatient when it takes more than 5 minutes to download a 700mb Linux ISO! The few TV programs I do watch come via BBC iPlayer or similar - online of course

Twitter is something the birds do in the morning, not an activity on my PC or phone
