Found this on a BBC News report. www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15105760Can understand how adverts on the net can be dodgy, but when they are on TV and in papers, it is rather strange. Can only assume that the powers that vet these things are too busy swilling their Port to understand the realities of the net. Still, they're doing something now. Presumably one of them has finally realied they've been conned.

Won't be able to advertise those speeds unless 10% can get them ?!!
10% !!!!!!!!! So they can still rip 90% of people off and stay within the guidelines??
That is so ludicrous, it's unbelievable. Surely the barest bare minimum should be 51% i.e. a majority of people.
I pity people on ADSL and thank my lucky stars I live in a cabled area

Me too Mikkh. But the ambavalence of the powers toward rip-offs in high technology areas is quite ridiculous.
I've had people, trying to get me to sign up, especially to Sky, making incredable claims about the Sky ISP.
Like you, I live in a cabled area.
