Try this...
"Yes you can do this. Click on the Navigation button at the top right corner of your screen. When your Profile control panel opens. Click the Communities tab in the center box, next the 'My Communities" link, then the 'more manage' at the bottom. When the page opens find the board you want to leave in the list and look to the right for the "Remove" button.
Just click that."
