I have Firefox 3.6.17 installed on my PC but not on my laptop. Is it possible to "Export" this to my laptop since I have put a fair amount of work into it? I am afraid I don't like FFX4

Do you mean just your Bookmarks, or exactly your whole Firefox Profile?
Try the following...here
Firefox 3.6.17
Update....better link I think
For Bookmarks, click on Bookmarks tab, Organise Bookmarks, Import and Backup Tab. Click Backup Save the file to your PC ready to import to your laptop

Oh wow, worked a treat, all my tabs etc: Brilliant. So much Lynnrose Just a little niggle. If I decide to open a second site it doesn't add to the list, it deletes the first and only one. I would like to have several sites 'available' together across the tab bar. Help please.

The add-on is just for Bookmarks, so if you have Firefox open and then choose a site from your Bookmarks, it will open in a new tab. I installed it and works fine.
Maybe also have a look at Tools tab, Options and choose Tabs

Oh I see, I'll persever with it, it is the same on my two other machine also.

I use Tab Mix Plus, which let you customise tabs in all sorts of ways. If you can't get that one working how you want, you might want to try it instead.

Roz, I have installed Tab Mix Plus but I can't figure out how to get it to work. If I decide to load CIT for example and then go on to some other site, CIT is removed in favour of the new selection, so I always only have one program in view, which is hopeless for doing the Jigsaw for example when needing JigZone - TinyPic et-al. Thank goodness I have Maxthon.

In the TBM options, under "Links", check "Open links with a target attribute in current tab" isn't checked.

Also this page might help, although it's pretty comprehensive and might look a bit daunting at first. tmp.garyr.net/help/

Roz - thanks. I am using the "New tab" feature at the moment, seems to be the easiest answer.
