The Commodore 64 reborn as the Win7 C64x in 2011

A 1980s computer which was the best seller of its time and introduced users to games such as Donkey Kong and Lemmings is being relaunched as a retro classic.

The new Commodore 64 comes complete with the original chunky beige casing, clunky keyboard and rainbow logo.

But as well as allowing owners to play the original games, this version is also capable of running the latest software packages.

'spirit of radio' (the name of the track) seems a strange choice though, because it never featured in any game I can remember

If you could get copies of the games, you could run them on any computer with XP up. Windows 7 only runs on NTFS, so the games must have been rewritten. Unless they have got them on a virual machine within Windows 7. For that sort of money I think I would rather have the Atom D525 in a mini netbook.
