In King Arthurs day; castles were a few stones scattered round the hearth and the rest of the castle was wood and thatch Nocky. Knights on firey steeds dressed in shining armour my arse. Dressed in goat skins and prancing about banging coconuts together is more like it. Thats why Cornwall in one of the few places in the UK that coconut trees actually grow.

We were disappointed when we visited, partly because the access was so bad; which is probably why the castle was built there in the first place. In any case, we didn't make it over to the castle, but I got a few nice pictures.

LOL, KC. ;D You're right Angel, it's a hard climb up across that dodgy footbridge, and no castle ruins worth taking about. The sea and cliff views were terrific though.

He looks like a seagull to me Elvis. With all the race relations thing going on in the film industry, he could be a duck playing the part of a seagull. Lets face it years ago Errol Flynn often had to play the part of an Englishman.

Theres a bus stop just outside the other end of the pub Nocky, they had to build a road to get the barrels in. The Cornish dont tell the Grockles about that and let them walk.

Now we are all in the EEC, Cornwall decided to build a tunnel to England. Its not going the wrong way Nocky, the Cornish miners decided to grade it down in a swing round. They worked it out if they had gone direct, it would have still been above ground when they got there.

Got to admit that I'm finding it hard to come up with new ideas on this one, it's not as easy as I thought it'd be. Here it is looking slightly "impastoed". ;D
