Nasa is planning an audacious mission to send a manned spacecraft on a one-way trip to permanently settle on other planets.

The ambitious idea is known as the Hundred Years Starship and would send astronauts to colonise planets like Mars, knowing they could never come home.

The best machines NASA have got are 40 year old pieces of junk. How are these astronauts going to get there?? Mopeds perhaps?? No wonder they says its a one way trip, their astronauts getting back now is more luck than judgement and they are hardly going anywhere. You can bet your life the people who come up with these stupid ideas, wont be going. Why the hell dont they do something useful with money, instead of wasting it on stupid projects like that.

As a Sci-Fi nut since I was a kid it has always been my dream to get into Space, so I'd jump at the chance, and I've been on this planet too long anyway.

Get yourself abducted and go somewhere decent Buzz. You wouldn't like Mars anyway, it a hot dirty place and the locals dont drink and are miserable all the time. There are some nice little places around Alfa Centari that I can recommend. Abduction is the only way to travel, I wouldn't want to fly with a ramshackle lot like NASA.

Area 51 has some nice space ships and then there is aurora.
