Trying to help my friend write her CV. I would like to write and print it off the web ( if thats the right term). ;D Does any one know of a good free site.? Tuesday

You could try this one - it looks OK and appears to be free www.companyfusion.com/cvbuild.htmlOn second thoughts - DONT I've just noticed they want your mobile number and they've already got your address - sod that! Have a look though, it gives basic info on what a CV should contain and tips about what to put in You should be able to copy the format easily enough into Word or Writer from the free OpenOffice suite. Or use one of the free templates available (for OpenOffice) templates.services.openoffice.org/en/taxonomy/term/158

Thanks Mikkh just what we wanted.
I've printed format and with all information from this site we can now begin to get CV written also it will now be in the correct order.

You're welcome, try to keep it on one page if you can, or keep the most relevant info on the first page because with lots of CV's to look through, they'll just skim read the top page and mostly don't bother to even read the second.
I used to use 'fine print' on mine, which shrinks two pages onto one but still remains readable and gives a touch of originality to make it stand out better. I also figured it went some way to proving I was computer literate.
Don't worry about that though, I don't think it ever helped me that much
