I was really amazed at the response to last weeks "Mugshot", which resulted in a whole load of very good pics, some of which were really quite outstanding. Well done everyone. As it was so popular, I think we will have another go this week, and my choice to have a go at? Well, "it's a banana". ;D To start us off, I've done a crayon sketch which I'm sure you all can improve on.

That's a fantastic graphic Angel, great design, and lovely colour. I think it's a cracker, well done you. Here's a banana encased in ice, at least that's what it's supposed to be. ;D

That's a very subtle change there Elvis, had to look twice to see what you had done. Cool. I like doing these cos I can use filters and effects that don't work too well on scenic pics. ;D

That's very good KC, great imagination. That's a fine hand drawn mast and sail,, the figurehead and tail look good, and the shields set the whole thing off nicely. Altogether, a very nice "old viking" graphic.

Not a lot of imagination Nocky, I have been to the Viking museums several times in Norway. I could have just as easily taken an old picture and turned it into a banana.

I did spot the possibilities myself KC, but as I'm absolutely hopeless at cut "n" paste and can't draw a straight line for toffee, I left it for someone with more expertise. I'll just stick to my filters and plugins. ;D

After a second look Elvis, it looked like a banana sitting on snow, which is why I said "cool" That's a nice effect there too.

I love that banana jellyfish, or whatever it is Nocky.
That spotty one is definitely a Jamaican banana Elvis. If they grew some like that on the Central American mainland, they would burn the crop and close the plantation down for 50 years.

It does look like some strange sea creature KC, but it's just me fooling around with the kaleidoscope effect again. ;D

I like that one Nocky. Sorry I've been a bit too busy this week to do much art.
Still I now have 3 computers and 2 servers talking to one another at home and abroard. Thats a work of art in itself, as I have had quite a bit of trouble with my network and its still only about 95% right. I dont know what is harder, networking or bananas.

No problem KC, after all this is just for fun, it's not compulsory to post pics here, and I know you'll contribute more of your clever work when you're not so busy. I'm glad to hear your getting your network sorted out. As for me, I've had nothing but spare time this week, been stuck indoors due to almost non-stop rain since Sunday. At least it's given me a chance to play around with filters and effects that I don't normally use. ;D
