Firefox 4 Beta 1 unveiled

Mozilla has taken the wraps off the first beta version of Firefox 4, which includes support for HD Video and a new Add-Ons Manager.

Hmm, I've already sent feedback about the silly transparent section at the top - don't like it at all! It's showing part of my desktop and I find it very distracting. I refused the tacky 'personas' in 3.6 and I certainly don't want that either.

Apart from that annoyance and the lack of anything but the US version available to download it's basically underwhelming.

It's remembered my settings and add-ons, but the new bookmark button doesn't want to be moved or deleted - and I don't want it there on the right.

Grrr, that transparent bit is annoying, I keep thinking the window is not fully maximised, but it is

And the promised extra speed? Can't say I notice anything different and it doesn't appear to load any quicker either

Well they have one for Windows too download and one for Linux users to download never notice that before still it's only a beta so i will white a bit yet
