Better late than never - it's arrived today!
First impressions, it's much bigger than the release candidate which fitted on a CD. This is a 100 MB bigger and now requires a DVD if you want to 'burn' it.
I used a virtual CD tool so I didn't need to burn it and just used the 'mint4win' installer inside Windows 7.
It now comes with the latest Sun Java pre-installed (it was missing from the RC) and has the latest Adobe Flash too, so it's all good to go on the internet via the latest 3.63 Firefox.
Look for a folder called 'host' inside the 'file system' folder if you want access to the other files on the Windows partition btw.
Usual software already installed like OpenOffice, Gimp and Pidgin, but also includes VLC media player which is not a normal default application. Can't really see where the rest of the 100MB has been used because I know Sun Java isn't that big, but it's looking good so far.
It has 'software manager' as a dumbed down version of Synaptic, but includes Synaptic as well for those who want more control
