Last weeks project got off to a slow start, but by the end there were quite a few pretty good posts'. Well done folks. This weeks subjects is the pic Ken posted of his former home on the Pacific coast. I resized it for easier use, (hope you don't mind Ken) so lets see what changes you can make. ;D my first go done with FotoSketcher.

WOW! you've really gone to town with the effects here Angel. Everytime I look, I spot something else, a whole weeks worth of effects in those two pics has got us off to a cracking start, well done. ;D Here's a rather vivid paint job.

That's a good one Elvis, sort of a comic-book or cartoon effect, nice. I used the Neon Glow (oops! that should read Glowing Edges) effect in Photoshop to do this one.

I've tried Gimp a couple of times, but I prefer fiddling about with the filters in Photoshop and lots of freebies. ;D

I can really get into this kind of programs so learning Gimp is better for me as i have never used PSP and i like this kind off posting as i just do a little now and again i learn more that way.

Another unusual one Elvis, you really are getting into the swing of things. As you say, trying out different filter combinations is a good way to learn, which is more or less what I do. Here's another paint attempt, a bit more subdued than my first post. ;D

The fog looks pretty realistic Elvis. ;D I don't know what I'm doing most of the time either, and not just with graphics. I think the "wobblies" must be catching. ;D

Not to worry Elvis, I forget what filters I've used quite regularly. Thanks Angel, that could be the one. This one is just a colour saturation boost, a bit overdone maybe. ;D

I have to admit Angel, I do tend to get a trifle over-enthusiastic with colour now and then, but this "twilight time" version is a bit more soothing.......or is it ? ;D
