This is a pic I took on a cruise up the R.Tamar of the King William Yards, famous RN re-victualling store, now alas turned into luxury flats. I'm looking forward to seeing what you all can do with it. Have fun. ;D my first attempt, done with FotoSketcher.

Nice one Angel. Must check out that Serif. I'm expecting a couple of DVD's from my brother in the post with the latest PSP and various editing software etc; should be an improvement on the limitations of Windows Paint. I'm reluctant to download all the software nocky tries out as I don't like installing stuff that won't get used regularly.

Another clever animation phoney, can't wait to see what you can do with better tools. As for the "freebies" I try out, most are small in size and easily removed if not being used. ;D Here's another version done in FotoSketcher,.........just saw your post KC, I've watched the subs passing that Devils Point many times. Well done.

I changed it Nocky, I didn't like the boat being disproportionate to the yacht.

Looks better KC, more realistic. Now if you only had it going up-river instead of across, it would be perfect. ;D

Blimet! Yachts, subs, cruise ships, whales. There's going to be a collision. Power up the lighthouse. Great subject photo nocky-so much scope for improvisation.

You make Plymouth look almost mediterranean nocky. I feel like jumping on the pont-aven to France for the weekend.

What's the opposite of panorama? Whatever it is, that's a really good example KC, great effect, You've also done a terrific job with your sub, I was only joking about turning it around, but you managed to do it, well done. Added some texture here, and a 3D bevel. ;D

The top picture was a complete accident Nocky. I saved Phoney's liner GIF, to find out if there was a way of working on them in PSP Photo. Its not really an animation program. I opened the file in Office Picture Manager, GIFs dont display properly in Office, but for some reason that one came out squashed. When I opened it in PSP it was a normal flat picture with the bow of the liner showing. So I opened the file in Office again and used the snipping tool to copy it. By cropping out most of the bow and cloning out what was left, I got rid of the liner. By fattening up the lighthouse and shortening the tower thingy on the building, I sorta got it looking almost right. By cloning out the transom of the yacht, it turned the boat round. A bit of touch up here and there and it dont look too foul. It was much easier to do than a lot of straight foreward picures I've tried working on.
Actually I still like the first sub picture I did, even if they are going the wrong way. This last one I got the detail much finer when looking at it at full size. Getting it to look right against the size of the yacht and still fitting it on the canvas, was the hard part. I still think the perspective looks better on the first one and it only took a fraction of the time to do.

I was playing with your sub Ken trying to make it come up under the yacht and have it rest on the conning tower, but couldn't get the water out of the ballast tanks in a smooth motion.

You should ask Commander J Bond Phoney, I bet he knows how to do it. Particulally if the yacht is crewed by women.
