I downloaded it a while back and it was OK, I admit I had to repair my crash with the Jaunty live CD as, being a newbie, I was a bit lost trying to save my computer with text, but I've still got it and will no doubt get the hang of it eventually.
I think the main idea is to stop crashing my machine...

It's basically garbage IMO, or was in previous versions. I doubt if anything has changed much from the poorly laid out mostly geeky command line tools it contains.
There's some very good Linux CD's out there - this isn't one of them though.
Hirens boot CD is a much better option
