I am very sad to see this message from Movieman, I was sure he would be one of the members that would stay with us:(

Just thought I would post my last thread on CIT at MSN groups. I have for a long time never been over impressed with MSN, especially the performance/maintenance issues over the years. But, looking at eForum envisage massive change to the working and makeup of CIT. I have visited CIT almost every day since becoming a member and on most days multiple times. I will give the eforum a go and hope that things work out at Multiply but have to admit I have my doubts. People just don't like change I can see many not following to either of the new locations. The hard core probably will but from a personal point of view the eForum format really isn't for me. I have received some really useful help in times of PC grief from CIT over the years and like to think that even with my limited knowledge and experience have helped others.....I will miss the old MSN/CIT. I would like to thank you managers for doing such a splendid job maintaining the site, keeping order and allowing a free flow of friendly banter to lighten what could have been a really dull and utilitarian group. Thank You This is Movieman signing off The last survivor of the ship Nostromo (Film based quote, read as CIT)

Mmmm, sad to hear that, MM is quite a character in his own way. Let's hope he has a change of heart somewhere down the line. JB.

I can understand why someone would not want to join Multiply, I have my doubts about that site myself, although I am getting used to it. But I can not see any problem with this site, it's very easy to use. It is a fact though that some people just don't like change, I'm sure MM will be missed, as JB says perhaps he will have a change of heart, jorg (foxy)

I am saddened too that Movieman will not be coming across here, he has always struck me as being one of out stalwarts. I have to agree however that many people do not like change, but I do like a challenge and I certainly think this Forum is the best New Alternative to MSN/CIT. MM - Please re-consider we shall miss you.

Pssssst, movieman36 has just joined, BUT...there was another Movieman that joined a few days ago, could it be that MM is now so impressed with the E Forum that he is giving us two of himself instead of one?

I am touched that you all might miss me...but I think you should all re read my post at CIT MSN. I was lementing the passing of the MSN period and expressing both my concern and discomfort with the new format, NOT saying I wouldn't at least try it. You lot amaze me......How could I possibly let you all stumble along in the dark without me, I have got to give it a go now just to keep you all on the straight and narrow. My 'Last Post' does actually say I was going to give this eForum lark a try.......tut tut....nothing has changed has it.

Silly us lot MM, you are right, we do need you coz we can't read very well, so when members start asking us questions we might give the wrong answers coz we aren't reading it right and we will need you to give the right answer to the right question or something like that We Love MM don't we!

Like all I am sad to see that CIT has had to move I may not have posted much but rest assured at least I was in CIT everyday (and if I didn't get in I started to get withdrawal symptoms !!!!....lol)
I find this forum to be really quite good must admit not to sure about Multiply but i am sure once i get the hang of it it willl be ok !
After 5 years on the dole i started a new job on Christmas Eve although only for 16 hours a week at least its a start (and the best bit is that i find myself with 12 Computers to mess around with !)
Happy New Year to all
