I watched 'Elvis by The Presleys,' it was on last night.
Hard to believe that he would have been 75 years old on 8th Jan

I watched the Elvis shows both last night and Saturday too, very enjoyable. What came across to me quite forcibly was that each and every one of his popular titles where an expression of his life, and in some cases very sad. A 'caring' generous man who also had an amazing voice. I can't see any of today's so called Artists coming anyway near his talent, same in my favourite genre - Jazz. Ella, Louis, Oscar Peterson, Benny Goodman, the Dorseys, Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Louie Bellson, Buddy Rich, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Ted Heath, and my all time favourite, Harry James and his orchestra, et-al all have passed away. Apologies for the 'rant' I am passionate about my music.
