[PBG:]http://i44.tinypic.com/f3at1h.jpg[/PBG:] Just a little poll on what pets you have. You can choose up to three pets from the list. Please put in your vote above and then you are welcome to put a note on the thread about your pet or pets and any you have that are not listed....pictures too would be nice. Here is one of my cat. She is 14 years old. We also have a bird called Susie (proboards censored the type of bird she is lol)
Update 9th Sept 2009: My cat is now 15 years old and I have added a pic of Susie

I've always preferred cats, they are so independent. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed by my Tenancy agreement here.
I have nothing against dogs, but they are just too much trouble to look after. Poop Scoop anyone. ;D

My fish are no trouble, and if my aging camera was up to the job I'd show you a picture of my 6 performing goldfish.
They're not so much pets as animated furniture, and I don't have names for any of them.
I'm definitely a dog person though, they're more loyal, loving and useful than any feline
I used to like cats, but there's only so many ways to cook them, and you get bored of them after a while !
Of course I'm joking - well I think I am anyway ;o)

I haven't had a pet for a year now, unless you count the spiders in the stairwell. I kept rats for 6 years, they are lovely pets. Here's a picture of my 2 girls, the day I got them 5 years ago. Julie the black and white one lived for 2 years and her little sister Wendy lived to be 3. I got 2 boys Eric and Colin when Julie died. Then it all hit the fan, Wendy would have killed the pair of them if I had let them near her. KC

I have a cat Misty. I keep getting PLEASE can we get a dog but I am far too lazy to do all that early morning and late night walking, Once I am in for the night all comfy on the settee I just could not be bothered if the dog needed the toilet, so a cat is much easier just have to feed and pat her she is happy. I used to have a fish tank I loved it maybe one day ill get another one. When I was a child I wanted one of every kind of animal about I was only allowed a hamster and a budgie, I kept bringing stray animals home which drove my mum potty.

I'd like a cat but being on the 4th floor it seems a bit cruel to keep one indoors permanently. Plus I'm waiting for genetic engineering to come up with a cat or dog that doesn't poo.

I had a wonderful companion "Tim" who passed away several years ago aged 14. He loved a saucer of lager and a pkt of crisps, when I was in the pub ;D I look after my Daughters' pooch "Baxter" fairly often, he is as daft as a brush and loves people, especially children. Loves a cuddle too.

Rays, did you use the same method to upload (TinyPic) as you used to upload your photos for the members slideshow? Don't give up as the uploader works fine x

My wild bird that fell out of it's nest, lil Pete! A Scaly Breasted Lorrikeet
I have let him fly away to be with his mates now. When I get more spare time, i'll get myself a Rainbow Lorrikeet.
