I don't think I shall be going on a long holiday this year. I have just spent three nights on the Norfolk Broads ~ River Ant, on a Houseboat (Stalham, nr. North Walsham) We had a great time. What about you? Short break? 'Proper' holiday? Where ya going? Where have you been already this year? Got any pictures?

I will probably go for a week in sunny Oldham, like I did last year. Although we were thinking of having a night in Skeggy, sometime this month.

Hollidays aren't really my thing to be honest. I like being home.
But my wife and I did have a weekend at the Eden Project.
If you like this sort of thing, it is amazing. There is a large ourdoor garden, though very formal and two glass houses. The largest of their kind in the world apparently.
One is for temperate plants. Facinating. The other for tropical. This is much bigger and to my mind much more interesting. Having spent time in the Tropics, I can say this is really well done. But without the opporessive heat and humidity of the tropics. Also, no mosquitos!!
Some of the themes are a bit preachy, but I asked one of the senior workers for some advice on plant problems and she wasn't in the least bit weird. Even advised me to use a certain commercial insecticide if all else fails.
Te journey is a bit of a trial. This place is way out in the sticks. Some nice places to saty though. Found a really nice pub called the Kings Arms in a really nice little town called Lostwithal.
As a non drinker, I really enjoyed it. Very friendly.
If you like some excitement, you'll be bored stiff.

I have booked a holiday this afternoon. Spent ages trawling websites like Alpharooms, Trip Advisor and Travel Republic. Anyway, I am off to Malaga in September for a week, can't wait!

Nice place Malaga Lynnrose, I went in the bull ring there. I didn't actually fight a bull, just a little boy with a pair of horns. He was trying hard to disembowel me, luckily I was 40 years younger then and was quite swift on my feet. Although I think I could still move quite fast, if someone came at me with a pair of horns.

Angel, we can't see your pictures. I have copied and pasted your links in the address bar, but nothing shows up. I have also altered your URL's, but still nothing. If you are wanting to show us a link to your album, then you need to get the URL from Share This Album, which shows on the left and looks something like this...
http://w85.photobucket.com/albums/k41/AngelStardust2/ If you want to show us just a picture by link, then the link will be found underneath the picture you want us to see, Direct Link (hover mouse over the picture to see the codes and copy the Direct Link) If you want to actually post the picture to the thread, copy the IMG CODE, again, hover mouse over the picture and copy the IMG CODE and paste into your message. It will look like this in your message, but when posted, your picture will appear

Next tip .....I notice that you use the CODE tag alot, but then you put the URL's alongside the tags like this
You should actually put your content in the middle of the tag like this
PUT CONTENT HERE This applies to all the tags (the icons above like IMG, URL etc) all content must be in the middle
PUT URL HERE FOR A LINK To add a link to a word like CLICK HERE do as follows CLICK HERE, or put the words you want people to click on to take them to another page etc.

IMG Thumb should do it.
Edit...............Just clicked on your thumbnail from a previous post and it now takes us to your slideshow, so all fine. Maybe if you modify that post and tell members to click the picture for a slideshow...anyway, great slideshow, place looks nice

Just noticed your slideshow Angel, and thought your pics were very good. Fleetwood doesn't seem to have changed much since I was last there about 20 years ago.

Not having a holiday this year, decided to spend some serious money on the house instead. New CH boiler is going to be fitted tomorrow, the system was 'flushed' today.
I am also trying to decide on whether to have the drive concreted or Tarmaced, I do not like block paving.

When I got rid of my old boiler; I was so flush, I spent some serious money on a 6 month holiday in the tropics.
