Plugin for wmv

H! Mikkh,

What plugin can i use for a wmv extension in Mint i have had a look in Synaptic Package Manager but i am not too sure what i am looking for, i was using Movie Player ;D

Type 'win32' in synaptic that should enable most windows formats in any media player

there's another one that enhances that called avi(something) just put avi in the search box

alternatively 'VLC' supports wma files as standard


(I usually just put 'codec' in the search box myself and install what looks interesting/useful)

It seems the file is in-encrypted so i think i will give it a miss and try some other time ;D

You need libdvdcss then - it should be in synaptic
