In this day and age of Malwarebytes and SUPERantispyware etc; is it necessary to also have "SpywareBlaster" in one's arsenal. It rarely seems to update these days.

Definately a needed program Buzzy. It updated only a few days ago and now there is protection against 12803 threats. It's SpywareGuard that updates infrequently, but that may be because Browser Hijackers are not as prevalent anymore. When a new browser hijacker is found, SG updates to protect you against it.
In case any members don't understand just what it is that SpywareBlaster actually does, i'll attempt to explain. SB is a "spoof" program. It fools any of the 12803 nasties that try to lodge on your computer into thinking it's already installed. If you feel that it's no longer needed, then don't use it. Just make sure that you run MBam and SAS more regularly. Both SB and SG are valued members of my personal arsenal.

SB updated again today with 38 updates. It's still a very active and needed program in my books.
