Considering the recent weather, and snow falling up North, it would seem Winter is not far off. Let's see what you can do with this weeks subject, Winter Weather. (but no Christmas stuff just yet, saving that for later. ;D) To get in the mood, I did this quickie in Photoshop.

Really first class scene nocky and as it's so impressive and imitation/modification is the sincerest form of flattery. all I could do was nick your image and add an apprehensive turkey and some snowflakes.

It's only a couple of tubes with sparkles added via animation shop.,

Maybe so Angel, but the overall effect turns a pretty basic landscape into something special. I think it's smashing. ;D Anyway, here's what I did while kept indoors by atrocious weather today. Variation on a theme you might say.

Nice, I like the effect, but I'd hate to be out in that storm.

Like that one angel. Took a look at the three frames in animator but as it's optimized, couldn't tweak them individually. Great blizzard nocky with the snow blowing left to right. You can almost feel the cold

Can you tell me how you got your snow effect and post me the tube for that turkey, please

I can't draw for toffee so hope you don't mind me messing about with your images. I do like to work out how to create/animate effects from scratch. Just overlayed drawn in paint and pasted twice on top of original moving very slightly right each time and animated with Gif animator. Just like to see if a realisitic image can be drawn from scratch

I'm not using 'tubes' just 3 images and 2 open Paint windows. Only reason turkey is jerky is because it was pasted in the 3 images individually rather than pasting it in original image and then adding snow. Open image 1 in Paint Open another Paint window, draw snow ,Copy and Paste over image 1 in first Paint window Repaste it 2/3 times moving slightly and saving each. + + Resized turky in paint

If you has opened your images as one animation in Animation Shop you could have added the turkey to all frames at once with no jerking.

I did this one using the add noise facility.

I turned up the volume expecting to hear something!! I assume it's noise as in 'distortion'. Nice.

Lol Phoney, yes the 'noise' effect is a useful tool for animation, Photoimpact has that tool also.

"Noise"in Photography is those annoying spots you get on your pics sometimes. Quite a good effect on occasion, but most snappers aren't too happy with it. Example 1...Tree on Dartmoor. Example 2....Same pic plus noise.(really overdone. ;D)
