Tonight I watched 'District 9' and really enjoyed it. It didn't end how I would have liked, but that's how it goes

Just been to see "The invention of lying" at the cinema
I'm not a big fan of 'the office' but I do like Ricky Gervais, so I took a chance on this one - mostly because the other choices looked poor I might add.
Is it any good? Well I enjoyed it, so the answer must be yes !
But I took my daughter and her friend, who seemed to be texting 50 % of the time, so I wondered if the quick fire humour was going over their heads (they're both 12 btw)
Talking about it on the way out, it appeared they were paying attention more than I thought as they recounted their favourite bits.
Cleverly done, with some good laughs and the sure sign of a good film - the time flew by and kept me watching all the way through.
It's not film of the year, but it's one of those films where you come out with a smile still on your face

Not long been back from seeing '2012'
It was not as good as I was expecting.
Other films I would like to see..
