Some of us have been trying to find out if Peppercat is ok as she hasn't signed into CIT since the 29th August....the good news is that I have made contact and Pepper has given permission for her messages to be posted here, so please take the time to say hello to Pepper
Thanks to Roz who has prompted the investigation
Lynnrose--Sorry I havent shown my face for awhile.. I am okay but things have sort of piled on top of me , the last straw is that whenever I do scans it knocks me out of every site. I even think my love affair with the computer is wearing thin..lol I shall return !! Be very afraid !! Dotty rang me--she was worried when she got your email.. I didnt intend to worry anyone--give my regards till I get there please..Pepper.
Hi Lynnrose--course you can put my email on the group.. It aint just the poot thats bugging me--I bought a new 3 in 1 printer and cant get it to scan..that annoyed I am having some work done around the house and everything went wrong with that. I was looking after a parrot and a thingyatoo while friends went on holiday and they were a nightmare--for me and me cat.. So you see--I am having a crisis..rofl--never had one of those before..Pepper. Sorry--I mean I am coming out of me crisis...

LR - thanks for this, at least Pepper is ok, I was very worried about her. Let's hope she will return to us just as soon as her pressures subsidise. Pepper, we are all thinking about you, you are sadly missed. Take care.

Thanks Lynnrose, good news that she's OK. Regarding your all-in-one problem Pepper, have you tried a shorter cable? I know that sounds daft but that can often be the problem.

Hi Pepper,
Do you mean you have to log in everywhere after scanning??? That is normal, if you delete all the cookies then you have to log in again. You can put cookies you want to keep on the ignore list and then they get left.
Have you unlocked the scanning light carrage?? Some scanners come locked up, so the carrage doesn't move around whilst in transit. I dont know where the catch is on your scanner, on a flatbed its underneath. On yours it might be on the back, it will be at the end where the carrage normally sits when not working. Remember, when all else fails read the instructions.
Pleased your OK, except for going round the twist. No change there then. Thingyatoos are pretty but bloody horrible natured birds and parrots get very stroppy if their circumstances get changed. Your lucky your cat didn't run away to sea. Hurry up back, we've all missed ya.
