Back to Nature this week, and the subject is Butterflies. As usual, you use any program you like, and I'm looking forward to seeing the results. ;D I did this "Glass" Butterfly using Photoshop brushes.

Windows paint- draw 2 images, background and butterfly. then insert, rotate and resize the butterfly 18 times and animate with ulead gif. Crude and basic but what FUN!

Well done. You might find Serif drawplus a better medium for making that kind of animation.

Hi Angel, just downloaded a trial of Animation Shop,and here's my first couple of attempts, I'll need to practice a bit, I think. ;D

If you remove a few of the frames where the wings come together, then copy all paste as a new animation, reverse one set of frames and copy all of that one and paste into the other after the last frame, you will make the butterfly wings flap. I usually remove any completely blank frames as well, unless I really need them.
