Avast has picked up a virus which I moved to the Chest and susequently deleted it. Since it seems to be in System Restore (which I have not used for quite some time) should I delete all restore points and start again, or will Avast intervention be sufficient?  |

Well I'd definitely delete that particular restore point. It's up to you whether you delete them all, but it's probably safest if your PC is otherwise OK

Think i would be inclined to make a restore point buzzy then use the delete all but last restore point function.

I know this is an old thread..but I picked up a virus whilst down loading avast...got rid of the whole thing..
