This week I've used a free online Sketch Program to make repeating Patterns in the style of M.C.Escher. escher.epfl.ch/escher/You don't have to download anything except your finished Pattern, which can be as simple or as complicated as you want. A couple of minutes trial should be enough to get the hang of it, there are instructions included. These examples will let you see what's possible. ;D

Nice one nocky. reminds me of the Alhambra Palace in Granada Mine is drawn in Windows basic Paint - drew one corner, copied, flipped, pasted each section. The problem is forcing yourself to stop filling and refilling the colours.

I like that one phoney,a nice colour mix. I also had to resist the temptation to add one more touch. ;D

Well done Pete, good efforts. I'm still learning the ins and outs of the Escher app, but to widen the spacing, select a cell from the top of the page, click modify cell, then drag cursor down and right to resize, select brush shape from bottom left, brush size and colours sliders on right side. I did this background and added the grafitti in Photoshop. ;D ....Oooops, didn't see your post Angel, well done. that looks great

Nice work Angel, and you have got this "sussed" too Nocky (have I spelt that right?), I must say I am one for sticking to the same old program until it no longer serves it's purpose.
Pete.

Thanks Pete, I think it's terrific little app. All the posts I've made in this thread were done using it, so you can see the variety of shapes and patterns that are possible. I just keep fiddling with the various controls, and it's amazing what develops. ;D
