Sorry I couldn't carry on with the party on this thread last night, but my connection went down, and it wasn't back until this morning.

I even rung them actually, but the guy said it might not be back until this morning-- I guess in reality the engineers weren't working, but he didn't tell me that. What's the point of a 24 hour help line when there isn't an engineer around to fix anything?

I'm with Nildram Pepper, but they were taken over by Tiscali last year. I knew Tiscali had a bad reputation, but thought it unfair not to give them a chance at least. I'm beginning to think now that I should have moved, although to be fair this is the first time it's happened. If it happens once more though, I'm definitely moving.

I remember when they were digging most of England up for cables and we werent asked our permission--we thought they were a lot of bounders...but I have definitely forgiven them--dont need Batty Telecom line ...only fault ?
It is not feasible to threaten to leave them--no cable competition..

Pepper, where do you store your pictures?
If you use Photobucket or tiny pic etc, just get the link from there to post a picture.

You can also save a picture to your desktop, then click on the Browse button above the message window here and upload from your desktop, click the Host it button, Imageshack will upload it, which will open in a new window, copy the first code it gives you, then click Add to Post button.
