Been a lousy damp old day today. I'm warm and dry in my cave, but I have to venture out tomorrow. I will put on my shades, wear a wide brimmed hat and put lots of sunblock on.

I dont know Pete; I wouldn't think of selling, its been in the family since the last Ice Age.
It was horrible in town yesterday, one minute the sun was shining and the next you were drowning. Once you got in a bar, you were scared to leave.

Been blowing a gale all night and this morning. Had to put the fire on to warm the place up, it was quite chilly when I got out of bed.
Seriously considering putting thermal longjohns back on. ;D

Yesterday the sun was shining and it was pouring with rain at the same time. This morning it looks really bleak. With a bit of luck we will have rain until the kids go back to school and keep them off the streets.

It has been pouring down all day, stopped now , but dull and dreary with low cloud and very misty.
But hey, not to worry, the weatherman just said the weekend will be warm and sunny. Roll on Saturday. ;D

Dont like the way the clouds are coming in from the sou'east tonight. Might be alright down your way Nocky, but I don't fancy our chances for a good weekend. I'm going out to dinner with friends on Sunday, so its bound to be lousy.

The rain started here about an hour ago, and according to the forecast is going to get worse over the next few days. Just as I was getting acclimatized to the sunshine too.
Hope it doesn't spoil your Sunday dinner date Ken. ;D

I'm not too concerned about the weather now Nocky, I've got toothache and my face has swollen up. I dunno that I want to go out looking like the elephant man.

Sorry to hear that Ken, toothache's not a lot of fun. Hope you get it sorted asap.
I always find a wad of cotton wool well soaked in whisky and clamped between the teeth helps. Doesn't make the pain go away, but after a few repeated applications, I do. ;D

Murray won anyway, but he didn't play that well. Hope the Plymouth crowd didn't get rowdy and start chucking those chairs around.
