I put my central heating on yesterday, the first time in 2 years. I thought I had better warm the place up a bit, in case Lynnrose got snowbound and had the stay over for a few weeks. Always got room for you Lynnrose, if ever you get stuck or just fancy a Wednesday night at the snail racing.

So looks like I am not the only one that had a snowfall. What a kind offer from KC. I shall keep you in mind. Good to know there will be a warm bed for me out there if ever I get stuck.

Its a lovely bright sunny morning, but the temperatures are still way below freezing and not expected to go above. The snow is still on the ground and I dont think I will try to ski down to the shops. I will leave that till tomorrow, not that I'm expecting it to be any better. If your going to break your neck, there's no point in rushing into it.

Theres a lot of cloud moving in from about east by north and they reckon it will be snowing by midnight. The temperature is still around 0º C and they say it wont drop by more than 1 degree, thats a good sign of snow. My baccy supply will have run out by tomorrow afternoon and thats a better sign of snow. Thats about the only thing to get me skiing down the hill to the shop.

Its snowing on and off, but nothing very much. They said we would get some around midnight last night and we did, but only about half inch if that. I was very surprised to look out about 01.15 and see a feller rolling a giant snowball. Maybe he thought it would all be gone by daybreak. I wish it had, but we have got enough to make walking nasty.

I expect Fozzy is curled up asleep somewhere. My baccy is almost run out so I'm going to ski down the mountain shortly and get some more. I might get some fish and chips if the chippy has bothered to open. I had better get some sugar. I've got about a months supply of coffee, but my sugar supply is low.

Looks like people stayed indoors and the snow was deep and fresh. I had no trouble at all getting down the hill and back up. It was supposed to be -1º C, but it seemed quite warm. Admitted I was wearing more clothes than an Eskimo. If its clear and cold tomorrow, it could be more treacherous with slush turning to ice where people walk. Then from Thursday onwards, they forecast more snow. I think we are in for a bad cold winter and its all due to global warming.

The snow is amazing where I am. Where I work has shut down for the day. Luckily it is my day off, but the lady that should be in today cannot get in and the boss is stranded at home. Our car is stranded in the drive blah blah blah. I am expecting to still work tomorrow as I can walk - takes about 20mins on a normal day, but we shall see.
