Yesterday I down loaded a programme called visteize since down loading I cannot print from microsoft word,how ever I can print a test page also prints pages from word help.Any one any ideas what the problem might be.

Could you please give the exact name of the software you downloaded as visteize brings up a lot of gobblydegook on google.
Do you perhaps mean Vistamize??
I would say uninstall the software if it has caused issues with other things on your system

hi jack the programme is visterize but ive uninstalled it,still cannot print from word just blank paper coming out of printer,print preview shows every thing I have ready for printing but as I said only blank sheets of paper coming through,tried upgrading the printer driver but made no difference.

You dont say what system your running. The name suggests its aimed toward Vista Users. Some things will run on earlier versions of Windows, but not all. If your using XP, it probably never will, no matter how many drivers you update.

I am using xp home sp 3 can print documents scanned and sent direct to printer but it will not print from microsoft word.

Check Print command in word see what the default printer is, maybe its got changed to a different default printer

the printer was still highlighted as the dedicated printer,how ever I have solved the problem in a fashion.The printer I was using was an hp photosmart 7150 and I had bought a new all in one printer was just using up the ink in the hp,so disconnected it and changed over to open office as the new printer wouldn't work with microsoft word just like the hp printer,but since changing to open office every thing is working ok.
