I am trying to play DVDs owith my NVDVD software. The software shows DTS soundtrack, but there is no soundtrack playing through my DTS amplifier. My PC is connected to the amp via a SPDIF setup.
NVDVD is set for SPDIF out.
If I use different software (DVD X Player), the DTS is fine.
Any ideas on how I can get NVDVD to send the signal to the amp (the SPDIF out is via USB).
Any ideas (do I need to buy the Pure VIdeo Platinum pack...?). Ah, the quest for DTS!
Cheers!

Surely you stick to the player that works, unless you have some other reason for using the NVDVD software?
... or am I missing something here?

That would be what normal, sensible humans would do. But then...
I'm using the PC as my primary DVD player, hence I can play all my DVDs from the UK here in the States. Tee hee!
The PC has an infra-red remote control (as would a stand-alone DVD player), which is a USB device. It's an Nvidia beastie and only functions for the Nvidia NvDVD software. I just wanted to get a little use out of a device I bought.
Bit picky, really, but that's the way my mind works.
