Windows Live Groups are meant to be up and running tomorrow, so wouldn't it be nice if they turn out to be the closest website to MSN Groups out there, therefore problem solved.

I was of the opinion that Windows Live Groups was only for small Groups and thus larger groups like CF and MHM's etc: may not be able to use it. I suppose it may depend on what MSN call LARGE as far as CIT is concerned. The other thought that occurs to me is we are going to have a heck of a job keeping on touch with friends on other Groups if they are all going to go in different directions and join various sites.  |

I can't see the problem C.I.T. being on Windows Live Groups!!
Anyway soon... MSN may end up being Windows Live altogether.

Well I created a test site on Windoze Live Groups ....
It's designed to be limited to around 20 members, who can then use Windoze Live Messenger as a group chat box (go over 20 and that option is no longer offered).
Apart from that it allows discussion threads, and as far as I can see, that's about it! It does point you to using skydrive and the rest, but I think that's on your personal Live Page

I don't think Live Groups will be right for us as hopefully we will still keep more than 20 members when MSN closes x

Have just tried to open Live Groups as I created a test group on there ... Bless em (can't say wot i really think heh) their servers are down ... what a surprise!!!
