normal bootup - not

I've just completed a fresh reinstall but am finding that when I boot up instead of the normal one which is indows XP logo then the welcome screen, but currently when I am booting up I see "please select operating system to start" then the choice of microsoft Windows XP home edition OR Microsoft Windows XP recovery Console.

How to I set this somewhere/somehow that on normal boot up I just go direct to the welcome screen without having to now go through these options?

Try this

1) Go to Start -> Run
2) Type in : msconfig, and hit enter
3) Choose the fourth tab, which is “BOOT.INI”
4) Click “Check All Boot Paths” button
5) When done, press “OK”
