I have just bought an mp3 player and when I try to install the software I get a message saying that there is a compatibilty issue between the driver and this version of windows. (vista)how can I fix this.?docker

1) look at the manufacturers site for a Vista driver
2) try to run it in compatibility mode
3) take it back as old stock - Vista has been out a while
4) wrap it up as an early xmas present for some deserving nephew/niece (with XP)
5) throw it on the floor in disgust, swear at it loudly, then smash it to bits with a lump hammer
6) play 'why does it always rain on me' by Travis until you go insane - not on an MP3 player of course

.... and MP3 players rarely need a driver anyway, it should show up as 'mass storage device' if you just plug it in
The software is probably just some iTunes type rubbish with maybe a converter built in. Any half decent MP3 player should just play MP3's as standard

If you got it in your Rice Crispies Docker, you will have to install ancient Mandarin for it to recognise it.
