I have Windows Media Player 11 and i keep getting a message saying that it cannot play dvds due to digital copy protection i have done what it said on the XP help pages (lot of good that was !)
Does anyone know of a good freeware media player that I could use ? Thanks Grant

I always go into tools option and then privacy untick download usage rights automatically, but I prefer using windows media player classic with the codecs it seems to play everything and is quicker at starting you can get it here www.filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/just click the green arrow download latest version.

You could also try Media Player Classic from www.codecs.com . Search for Media Player Classic. Then load it up, stick a DVD in, select PLAY DVD from the menu and away ya go!

I use AVS which seems OK, and not too resource hungry.
