This occurs on several CIT pages. Not a problem, just interested as to cause. In the status bar you get a yellow triangle with an ! and 'Done but with errors on the page' Seems to be page coding error: CHAR can be used to insert control characters into character strings. When I click details I get the following message is displayed. Sometimes as below it's Char 1 but mostly Char 13 |

It's probably something to do with my settings. As far as I can make out everything on a page is visible. It only happens when I enter some threads, never on the Home page, list of subjects etc; which suggests it's a link like tinypic, imageshack or suchlike but I can't see any red X's or blank spots to suggest something is not being displayed.  |

I was wondering if this is the problem, although I can see all imageshack and tinypic images. I don't get the error on any other website. I don't get the error on this thread page for instance.  |

It's not happening now. I just clicked on numerous pages and none have, 'Done but with errors'.
Didn't change anything so can't make it out.
Must be a glitch in my settings.
Just logged out and clicked on this thread and got it again, but when I logged in now it's not there. No idea what's going on now.

Under cookies it says blocked so if you unblock it and reopen CIT it may be OK What browser have you got?

Cheers elvis. I am using IE7 and wasn't getting this error last week. I was wondering if dropping the 23 from proboards means my settings are not recognising objects hosted by imageshack and tinypic before the change although they are all being displayed.I selected a few from 'BLOCKED' and they are for CIT banners and buttons hosted by tinypic such as: i43.tinypic.com/3354hw3.jpg (CIT here to help) i39.tinypic.com/15wkj6o.jpg (help button) i43.tinypic.com/1z53jau.jpg (register button) It's definately my settings and not a CIT problem. Hope I didn't give that impression. I'll allow cookies from tinypic and imageshack and that should sort it although my settings don't prevent any images hosted on these sites being displayed. I was reading into 'Done but with errors' that I wasn't seeing something. |
