As most of you know, we can add a Youtube video to our posts, by using the tags...
[youtube]URL HERE[/youtube]
...and putting in the URL to the video in the middle of the tags.
With Version 5, we will be able to add a video from lots of other video sites, like Metacafe for instance using the tag...
[video]URL HERE[/video]
...the second new tag that will be introduced will be...
[audio]URL HERE[/audio]
...so that you can add an audio file to your posts, either directly from your own website, or from 'Grooveshark'

I hope the change goes smoothly when it happens. That is usually when things go wrong. I'm pleased that NHI and this group are on different servers; so if theres a lot of down time for one, the other might be still running. This usually happens when they have maintenance shutdowns. I must say that Proboards are very efficient when it comes to maintenance and we have never had to endure anything major. This group has been running smoothly for several years now as a backup for MSN and NHI has been running for about a year. The only thingyups there have been mine and not Proboards. Version 5 looks quite good, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Ken - "Thingyups" can be edited but only by the main administrator - in this case Lynnrose.

I have been having a look at Version 5...yes, V5 is still a work in progress, but thought I would give you some idea of what is coming....
Option to design your own Avatar via your Profile...here is mine with info I choose to show underneath...
Profile....notice the tabs
Coloured backgrounds in your posts...
...and some available options to use in your posts...
