When you say deleted, do you mean that you have removed it from Add/Remove Programs?
If you have definately removed it are you downloading the one from here as this is the one you need?

Presumably you have done a search.

It may be that you're looking for the wrong thing, as "MSN Messenger" no longer seems to exist ~ it's renamed itself "Windows Live Messenger". Try looking at Start | Programs | Windows Live | Windows Live Messenger and see if its there.
Another possibility is that it's moved itself to somewhere you can't see. Go to Add/Remove programs, find it and uninstall it. Then re-install from the link Lynnrose gave, and you'll end up with the up-to-date version correctly installed.
Give us a shout back and let us know how you're getting on, tho?

MSN Messenger was removed a while a go. It is now called Windows LIVE messenger. A good thing with this new version is that you can also chat to Yahoo Messenger users too and visa versa.
