Fotolia sell your royalty free photos vectors and videos paying you eg 5p for small images used on the net or up to £2 for large prints. They payout once you reach £30. Registering and uploading is free.

www.istockphoto.com is another one that pays 20% for any photo sold, and 40% if you don't sell your photo on any rival sites. But they only want quality photos, not holiday snaps.

they keep rejecting my photos, which is a shame cos , if i sell a photo, even if only for 4p, i could call myself a professional photographer lol. to this end how do i remove the date stamp from my photos?

Giraff, sorry you have had no answer for...
...do you want to start a new thread here with that as the title? You will probably get a reply then.
Do they give a reason why they keep rejecting your photos?

the date time stamp cannot be removed as such but you can crop the photo to get rid of it or use a clone tool to cover it with the photos background

yes i have looked into it , i did crop the photo but then it was to small to submit, going to get photoshop elements, it very user friendly, i am very new to photography so i am reading up on composition and reducing noise, also researching what type of photo is marketable and i have joined a couple more stock photo sites. so i will get there eventually

I have a friend online who is a retired professional and he reckons that it's not worth the hassle, even for good digital pictures.

When it comes to date stamps, its best to turn it off on the camera and then you dont have to worry about getting rid of it.

I think I might give it a go, just to tell the taxman; who knows I might sell some.
