If you're in Linux, it's easy to access Windows partitions/files because there is built in support for NTFS If you're in Windows, there is no provision to access Linux Partitions/files - which can be frustrating if you find yourself in Windows and remember the file you want is in Linux There has been various solutions over the years, some clunky and half working efforts and some more elegant but lacking in features I've recently discovered this though www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/It's not perfect (for me anyway, because it ignores my single click preferred setup and makes me double click) but it is the best of this particular type of utility If you regularly switch between OS's this is a must have piece of software It's aimed at experienced users with many features, but all the inexperienced Linux user needs to know is that their files are in the 'home' folder under their username
