I have just noticed that if I right click on some of the task bar icons on my Desktop machine it brings up a list of files previously accessed. Whereas this is not exactly a problem I would prefer not to have this feature. It does not occur on my Laptop.
Both machines are running Windows t Home Premium 64bit. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

Right click the taskbar and pick properties
In the Windows 8 I'm currently using there's a 'jump list' tab to stop it saving recently opened programs or items in the program, but I use Windows 7 so infrequently, I don't know if its there in that
There will be something though
