Going to do all my questions with windows 7 then the problem. There is no email program in the W7 is it worth while downloading "windows live mail" for outlook express or use web email service, Hotmail etc.

If you want a POP based email client you could use Thunderbird Hotmail is 'live mail' nowadays and it can import POP email accounts at a basic level, but if you want a full featured email client and are used to having a separate program to do the job - use Thunderbird www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/

Iv'e taken your advice and installed Thunderbird and put in two pop email addresses but can't put in addresses in address book from a wab file which is on a memory stick, when it says import to contacts it goes to window contact file. hope this makes sense.

Given up with pop emails, I put my information in then my wifes, all emails from both accounts came in together, all addresses came up inmaterial what account I or er in doors signed into. now using hotmail with no problems.

It was made for Windows Live, so you wont have any problems with Live Hotmail Monty.
