H!,
I am getting problems Deleting a folder in W7 i tried to deleting it in safe mode but it did not work (see piccy)

It cant delete something if it doesn't live at the address its listed at. Something has gone wrong and the folder isn't where it should be, namely on the desktop. Have you moved it at sometime or another Elvis??? You could try cutting and pasting it to another drive or partition and delete it there.

This is the folder that gave me trouble on my External USB hardrive KC i dount know if you remember it was a week ago and i had to copy and pastes it on to Mint as it would not show on W7 and then i change the folder name and then it was ok when i coped it back to W7 with a different name, i will give what you say a go and see what happens

Something has got screwed up in moving it Elvis. You might have done better by making a folder with Windows and just used Mint to move the contents to it. Moving the whole thing has missed a part of the address string somehow. Mint might work with Windows, but that doesn't mean that Windows will cooperate with Mint.

I have now got rid of the folder ;D by Cut and pasting it back into Linux mint and deleting it from Mint desktop what would i do with out Linux ;D

If you look at it the other way Elvis, you wouldn't have had the problem in the first place if you weren't running Linux.

At least it is FREE KC and it works just as good as M$ and it's a lot better
