I have some folders to encrypt in Windows 7 and I would like an easy to use program to achieve this.
On my laptop (XP) I use a program called "Yadabyte disc" and it works a dream, but it is not compatible with Win 7. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Found this do not know if it works ! It is for Win 7
To encrypt a folder or file Right-click the folder or file you want to encrypt, and then click Properties.
Click the General tab, and then click Advanced.
Select the Encrypt contents to secure data check box, click OK, and then click OK again.
Note The first time you encrypt a folder or file, an encryption certificate is automatically created. You should back up your encryption certificate. If your certificate and key are lost or damaged and you don't have a backup, you won't be able to use the files that you have encrypted. For more information, see Back up Encrypting File System (EFS) certificate.
To decrypt a folder or file Right-click the folder or file you want to decrypt, and then click Properties.
Click the General tab, and then click Advanced.
Clear the Encrypt contents to secure data check box, click OK, and then click OK again.

It claims to work on Vista, so '7' shouldn't be a problem Maybe they mean in compatibility mode - did you try that? RIGHT click the install file, pick properties, then look at the tabs at the top, one should be marked compatibility or something similar - pick XP, press apply and try again Or you could try to follow this rather long winded way www.howtogeek.com/howto/10436/using-program-compatibility-mode-in-windows-7/

What version of Win7 have you got Buzz?? Pro and Ultimate have got encryption built into the OS, but Home hasn't.

Ken - I have 'Home Premium' Nothing seems to be successful - I won't bother with encryption.
